    Good TV for the price!

I just bought this TV and so far I really like it. After making a few adjustments on the settings I really like the picture quality. If you want high contrast and vivid colors make sure to put the contrast level to high. My only complaint is the slow UI. I would have given this TV 5 stars if the UI wasn’t so slow. But it’s not a big deal to me.

    Low Budget TV

I am not pleased with this tv purchase. I purchased this tv strictly for streaming and I am disappointed with the basic features and it only has wifi for 2.4G. How can Samsung release a 2018 tv with dinosaur features? They are really half stepping with there tv‘s.

    Absolutely Disappointed

Impulse buy on Black Friday to replace my upscaled 4k 55in Philip’s. NO aux, no RGB, no component, no A/V, and a single standard HDMI port. Also would’ve have to have bought a separate wall mount since it doesn’t fit my universal one. No thanks. Mounting my Philip’s up tomorrow again and taking this back to the store. So disappointed.

This 55 inch Samsung UN55U6900 hands down better picture, features, all around technology, weight, usage cost and price.

I’m no pro with technology at all mind you, roughly 10 years ago I purchased my first flat screen 1080 p hd tv 46inch Sony for roughly 1,200 (still works as it was designed)

I can only see and hope to get that much time out of this Samsung. Let’s see if it holds up but well worth the cyber shop deal for it. I Hope to never contact Samsung support for a warranty claim within the first year!

    Will be returning

My husband bought this for our bedroom Christmas 2018 from Wal-Mart. It will not stay connected to WIFI. We have to reset it every night… several times. The modem is within 14 ft. The picture is terrible. I am so disappointed. This is our first Samsung “smart” TV. I had their Plasma Tv’s in the past and loved them. Sad.

    Some disappointments

I purchased the tv a week ago. When I turn on the tv, every time a screen appears on the bottom half of the picture showing the source screen (tv, HDM 1, and connection guide). It stays on for 10 seconds. I find this very annoying. I talked to a customer rep and they said it was a normal operation. That It shows the devices that are connected to the TV. doesn’t really make sense as I already know that information.

    Constant WIFI connection issues.

Overall a great looking TV, when it stays connected. We have to reset the WIFI settings daily, sometimes twice or more a day. It doesn’t make any sense. Every other WIFI device works fine on our Google WIFI mesh network. There’s even a mesh router in the same room as the TV. Our XBOX, PS4, and Firestick have no issues connecting and they are all next to the TV. Why, then do we have to reset the TV’s WIFI adapter daily? I cannot recommend this “Smart” TV for that reason.

I’m a huge SAMSUNG fan, but this model is a no-go

I thought buying a new 4k TV meant it would look better than my 5 year old SAMSUNG Curve, however, that is clearly not the case. I hated it so much, I had to send it back. Sports just looked awful on this TV. I ended up upgrading the Q60 series and I love that model. But this model is not worth the low price in my opinion.

    Assume Picture Quality

I get compliments on the quality of this television. My AVR upscale to 4K and this TV is a perfect match. The AVR and TV work together like peanut butter and jelly. I wouldn’t buy anything else.

    Great picture, problematic audio

Picture is great, apps work as they should. Audio is a disaster. The built in speakers are weak, but anytime the SPDIF audio output is used the audio stops at random times and won’t come back intil the input source is changed to something else and then back. Intolerable.
