    Great TV

    Unlike previous reviewers, I had no problems setting up this TV. The TV essentially walks you through the setup process that is almost fool proof. Upon completion you will notice that icons remain on the screen but can be easily removed through the set up menus. I love that the TV has the users manual built right in with a dedicated button on the remote and all the information you need is right at your finger tips.

    The reason I didn’t give it a 5 for design is because the bezel is quite thin and not as refined as in past Samsung flat screen TVs, I guess you need to skimp some where to save money. The speakers sound rather tinny and I couldn’t get the sound I wanted but it is livable, looking at sounds bars as we speak.

    Overall I won’t have any problem recommending this TV to anyone however if you’re over fifty like me and don’t want all hassle of programming than this TV is for you!

    Super drummer

    Super great TV

    I bought my 55” four days ago and am still getting impressed with it every day, when I try something new. I had an RCA 42″ and having the 55″ is so much better. Now about the picture and color, all I can say is wow. The picture is crisp and clear and the color is so vibrant, at times the picture looks like a live video feed. So to anyone looking to purchase a new tv, this is the tv to get. Easy set up,great quality,and reasonable price

    DirecTV Now App is useless

    I received my new 55″ on Monday and tried to use the DirecTV Now app that is already loaded onto the tv. The app is a Beta version that does not play sound on all channels and the video quality is average. I tried to delete the app as this website suggested but the tv does not allow you to delete factory loaded apps. Resorted to purchasing a 4K streaming device to use the app. Also, I haven’t figured out how to get the full 120 MHz to work, only 60 MHz.

    had this tv for a month so the longevity of it i cant say but this has been the best tv ive ever owned. ive gone with a bunch of other brands in the past and this one beats the quality on picture and color on them all. the detail is amazing and the menus are so easy to navigate. the apps all work and stream nice love the extra free tv channels you get also

    First time in Samsung these models not supported dts audio formate .due to this mostly movie’s in my drive is not compatible with this,imagine only picture no sound what rubbish

    Spotty Wifi not good for streaming live

    This TV does not support 5ghz wifi connection. It only supports 2.4ghz. As a result, streaming quality is spotty at best. There are many TVs in this price range that support both wifi connections. I have called in to Samsung multiple times to ask their reps which wifi connection it supports, and I have been given different answers. Frustrating.

    Great TV at a great price!

    I bought this TV on Black Friday for the awesome price of $399.99! I’ve never owned a Samsung TV before, but after this I don’t think I’ll ever go with another brand. I’m very happy with everything from the sound quality to the picture clarity this TV is superb! I’ve owned Vizio, Sanyo, LG TV’s and was happy for the most part but all had their pro’s and con’s. If I had to pick out one thing I personally don’t like it would be the 2 legs that mount to the TV to keep it upright. I’ve never been a fan of that design as I like the stand that mounts in the center of the TV vs. the one on each side but that is just my personal preference. WOULD RECOMMEND 100%

    Excellent 4k tv

    Horrible tv

    Tv will not stop rebooting. You cannon even complete the setup which is required to get a call back from Samsung. Once you get it to a point where you can go to the home screen and pull up Netflix, it will play for a few minutes and then start rebooting again. Don’t plan on watching a whole show with this one. I have 2 other Samsung tvs I really like which is why I tried this one. Expensive mistake.

    Great product and highly recommend

    I bought this TV a month ago and I am very happy with it. We use this one for PC/Gaming. Bright picture, great viewing from multiple angles, and beautiful picture. Set up and mounting was easy. The remote was changed from last year. I am unsure why people are complaining, it works which is all I need it to do.

    Great picture! Terrible hook-ups!

    Picture is outstanding, even on the 60s TV shows. Sometimes I think it is fake. The issues I have with this TV are:
    1) The lack of RCA jacks for stereo hook-ups. Since I have an older receiver, I have to EITHER buy a bunch of RCA to HDMI adapters OR new stereo gear. This turns out to be added cost. I would only recommend this to a friend IF they have a modern up-to-date receiver.
    2) Why are the speakers rear facing?? Surely TV manufacturing could have come up with a built-in swivel speaker so that the sound comes at you instead of toward the wall or better yet, speaker outputs directly to the TV so that you don’t have to go through a receiver/amplifier.
    3)Finally, your instruction manual does not give out the passcode to allow my Direct TV remote to take over the volume functions. What is that passcode?

    When i saw this advertised as having a full web broswer i thought it would be awesome but it only comes With A Junk Tizen Browser, Which Does Not Support Numerous Functions .I Was Expecting Chrome Or A Broswer Compatible With Most All Websites And Functions Together With The Fact That This Tv Does Not Have Flash, Makes It A Dud And Not A Smart Tv Onthe Cutting Edge Of Technology, Certainly Not Worth The Price. I Will Be Returning Thankfully It Was Rent To Own , And I Will Look For Other Available Options.

    Great Picture and Sound

    This TV has an excellent picture and surprisingly good sound for an LED TV. We shopped and compared numerous TV’s and could not see a difference in the picture quality on other more expensive models. The clarity and color are amazing. Very happy with this TV.

    Really, no Bluetooth?

    After doing much search, I have realized that this TV does NOT have Bluetooth capability. REALLY? From what I can tell, it was released in March 2018. I purchased the Samsung N450 sound bar to go with this TV, but am not able to use the Samsung sound bar’s full capabilities even though I purchased a brand new Samsung TV. I need the wireless connection and am very disappointed that such basic technology is not included in this TV, but is pretty standard with the Samsung sound bars. Bad product management Samsung. PICTURE: is fabulous. Love this TV otherwise. SUPPORT: the website is horrible to navigate to get information. It says LIve Chat is available 24 hr, but really it is just a fancy search engine. I waited 20 minutes with no live tech person ever coming on.

    Remote and App

    Like everybody, I don’t like the remote because the keys are not as 21st century as my other older Samsung TV UN55MU6300FXZA. Then I just realized this newer version doesn’t come with an XBOX One app. So in order to play xbox, I need to switch source on my remote. Finally, the latest firmware is only available on samsung website not via the internal update process. My UN55MU6300FXZA has the same problem though. Not sure if the TV is being conservative in terms of waiting for the firmware to be stable enough? Anyways, what can I say, I am cheap and didn’t buy the ones that support HDR10.

    I bought this tv for Christmas and have loved it, until I tried to watch HULU live on it. According to Hulu, this tv is deprecated and can not support live hulu. If Hulu and Samsung would get together to figure this out, this tv would get a 5 star rating from me, as everything else with it seems to be working out well.

    I bought this television about 3 months ago from Best Buy. A few weeks ago, it started turning on by itself. I’m not the only person who’s had this problem with this particular model. I contacted customer service and they did something by remote that didn’t work. I called Best Buy about a week later, and asked to get my money back. They said I couldn’t get a refund because I had it too long and to contact Samsung. I contacted Samsung and was told that their policy is to have a technician come over, and try to fix it. If it can’t be fixed then I could get a refund. I was also told that it could be an external device that’s causing the problem, and if it is determined that this is the case, I could be charged a fee. I am 100% positive that the television is junk because I have the exact same DVD Player and Roku Box connected to my other television which isn’t a smart tv and it doesn’t turn on by itself.The problem with making an appointment is that I could only make it from 10AM-2PM on Monday to Friday in my area. Samsung doesn’t provide weekend service. I work in the morning, but scheduled an appointment. Later, I cancelled it because I’m not going to take a day off from work for this piece of junk. I want my money back. Hopefully, somebody from Samsung will read this review, do the right thing, and take this piece of junk off of my hand and give me my money back.

    Terrible Samsung

    This tv is 4 months old. Since day one it struggles to stay connected to wifi. every time I turn it on the wifi wont connect. The firmware is up to date. Everything else works on my wifi. Once you get it to a point where you can go to the home screen and pull up couple of apps like DAZN, it will play for a few seconds and then start rebooting again. Don’t plan on watching a whole show with this one. This TV does not support 5ghz wifi connection, It only supports 2.4ghz. Where is the 120 Motion Rate? barely 40 or 60!!! As a result, streaming quality is spotty at best. There are many TVs in this price range that support both wifi connections. FrustratingIt’s a well documented issue online with Samsung TVs and no one seems to know how to fix it. The internet also disconnects frequently and requires me to go through. The issue is this not so smart tv. Is a piece of JUNK WASTE OF MONEY.

    Loved it until month six

    For a TV, this was pretty awesome for the price. But of course, I just can’t have anything nice last. Around the six month mark my TV suddenly had a vertical line pop up on the screen from all the way to the top to the bottom. A row of entire dead pixels. Yes it is under warranty, and yes someone is coming to fix it but the fact remains that I can’t even have something for a year without having hassles dealing with tech guys and customer support.

    Went for 7 Series over 6, Huge Mistake

    Purchased this TV around February this year (2019). The TV has been nothing but issues. First, I purchased the 7 series because I have a 6 series 55″ 4K curved and wanted another one but “more” features.

    This tv has been nothing but issues for a few months now including I can’t even use the wireless without it going out constantly when all other devices (including the other Samsung TV). Second, I ran an Ethernet cable directly from the router and now the Smart TV apps will randomly stop working so I have to force close them.

    I’ve tried all of the recommended changes, including resetting the TV, resetting the network settings, changing dns settings (for Wireless fix), running updates and it continues to have issues. It’s hard to replicate the issue when I want to schedule a tech because it’s hit or miss and I’ll make myself “a liar” for not being able to prove it works. Some days it’s good for all night, and some days it’s good for 5 minutes until it freezes.

    I haven’t had a single issue with my other Samsung TV that is over 3 years old and a 6 series. I would simple just like to speak to someone competent enough ( and English speaking) to understand the issue and replace this TV.
